About Visual Impairments
Color blindness is the inability to distinguish certain colors, with red-green color blindness being the most common type, affecting the perception of red, green, and yellow.
Low vision is a permanent visual impairment not correctable by glasses or medical treatments. It’s defined by the WHO as visual acuity between 20/70 and 20/400, or a visual field of 20 degrees or less.
